· In planning department still. There were a visit from Mr. Mikail Fong Abdullah, our visiting lecturer from mechanical engineering department in UNITEN
· This week we were taught how handle a project
· The project given to us is “B/E ke Taman Seruling Indah, Lot. 4269, Seksyen 63, Bandar Sungai Petani, Kedah”.
· For this project, we have to use PSS/ADEPT software to plan the new P/E
· The diagram structure for 11kV system for this project is created by using PSS/ADEPT
· The supply for this project area is from P/E Taman Batik 3 (from PPU Waktu Cerah – Tx. 1, Fdr No.3, with Imax. 172.623
· The other supply is from Taman Ria Jaya 12 ( from PMU SPID – Tx.1,Fdr. No. 15, with Imax. 20.45A
· Proposal P/E is single chamber with switch RMU SF6 11kV (2S+1F), transformer 11/0.43kV( 1x1000kVA) and feeder pillar 1600 amp
· Cable used is VR 185mmp Al. XLPE from f/p 1600 amp to proposal 9.0 m poles.
· The metering use is single phase and three phases.
· All the details are calculated and are helped by TNB’s planning staff.
· In PSS/ADEPT, we created P/E cad., two scenarios, and two off point optimization
· Cad P/E is created in between Taman Berlian Indah and Taman Seruling
· It is chose there because both P/E are the nearest to the site. ( we have to based on the site plan and refer to 11kV substation schematic diagram)
· Scenario is created for safety and as a precaution.
· Scenario 1 is created if there were a cable fault at Taman Batik 3. If the fault happened, the supply will be come from PMU SPID. The off point at P/E Taman Dahlia Indah will be on.
· Scenario 2 is created such cable fault is happened at Taman Ria Jaya 12. Thus, it is vice versa
· Off point optimization objective is to make an off point at the cad. P/E
· There are two off point optimization scenarios. The two off point is then compared, and the lowest amp will be taken as an off point.
· After all the design and plan has finished, we have to summarize in order to make it easy to understand for contractor gang.
· Therefore, we have to complete a proposal
· All the details about this project will be attach in logbook and report.
